Difference in form factor
Tecomat Foxtrot
Foxtrot is a compact PLC where the controller and basic I/O are integrated into a single housing.
The system can be further expanded using:

the TCL2 system bus

the CIB installation bus
It is designed for DIN-rail mounting in control cabinets with protective enclosures.
The enclosure allows safe access for non-specialist users.
CIB – Common Installation Bus® supports free topology for distributed installations in buildings and residential houses.
Expansion modules are available as:

modules under device covers,
-
wall-mounted controllers and sensors,
-
DIN-rail modules for control cabinets,

outdoor modules with higher IP protection.

Tecomat TC800
TC800 is a fully modular PLC system designed for applications with a large number of I/O points.
Input and output modules are:

The system is intended for industrial control cabinets where no protection for non-specialist operation is required.

Tecomat OEM solution (Open Frame)
OEM solutions are not a separate PLC product line, but a customer-specific implementation based on Foxtrot technology.
The control system is designed as an open-frame solution:

without enclosure,

based on a custom PCB (motherboard),

with I/O, communication and power supply integrated on a single board.
The customer-specific design allows:

optimization of the I/O combination,

selection of communication interfaces,

choice of supply voltage,

selection of connector types.
The control board is intended to be installed inside the final device enclosure provided by the manufacturer.
